Main responsibilities:

  • Generate key insights based on real-world data on early pipeline assets and disease areas to drive global strategies and help make better decisions.

  • Build evidence strategy for Early Portfolio brands; translate business imperatives into evidence to maintainstrong market presence and business continuity. 

  • Develop disease data strategy that enables the realization of the evidence strategy; determine data availability, access, and suitability from various sources.

  • Partner with relevant stakeholders to ensure robust integrated evidence generation plans are built, aligned and communicated globally and in countries. 

  • Manage the end-to-end execution of real-world studies ensuring deliverables are on time, on budget and to defined quality specifications.

  • Build disease data strategy in alignment with GenMed portfolio strategic recommendations; translate business needs into data needs; explore data availability, suitability, and access conditions in collaboration with Real World Data Strategic Partnership Lead and the RWD&ES team.  

  • Perform data analysis to provide insights into portfolio and pipeline planning; deliver actionable insights and recommendations to enable data-driven decision-making on portfolio and pipeline strategy, as well as external asset opportunities.  

  • Accountable for supporting the development of early portfolio Integrated Evidence Generation Plan (IEGP) and early evidence strategy for pipeline productsthat can deliver early and optimal access, the most impactful place in therapy, a category-leading body of evidence and early lifecycle management planning

  • Contribute to the strategic alignment with stakeholders across New Product Planning, R&D, Market Access, HEOR and others in portfolio and pipeline planning.

About you

  • Master’s degree in a quantitative field (i.e. pharmaco-epidemiology,biostatistics, computational science, RWE and outcomes research or related) in healthcare is required. PhD is preferred.

  • Significant experience in working in Early Portfolio teams (RWE, HEOR, epidemiology) or related functions preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotech sector.

  • You have designed and executed real-world evidence studies for regulatory or reimbursement submissions and have proven capability to define data needs for a therapeutic area or pharmaceutical product in development.

  • Track record of working with routinely collected health data, including structured and possibly unstructured sources in healthcare within pharmaceutical company settingsSignificant peer reviewed publication track record in epidemiology, clinical, statistical and/or HEOR journals required. 

  • Experience working in multiple therapeutic areas – experience in transplant, type 1/2 diabetes and cardiovascular is preferred.

  • You have strategic and visionary thinking capabilities to shape, influence and articulate innovative evidence generation.

  • Fluency in spoken and written business English. Proficiency or working knowledge of French or other European languages is a plus.
