Software Developer (m/f/d) CAD/CAM & 3D Data Processing

For the development of our CAD/CAM cloud solutions used by dentists for the creation of digital 3D scans, 3D-model generation and construction of treatment plans and restorations, we are looking for a Software Developer (m/f/d) to strengthen our international team at our location in Zurich. In addition to a wide range of development and training prospects, you will plan and develop new features of a modern CAD/CAM application as part of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• As part of a scrum team, you will be responsible for planning, designing and developing new features and prototypes for the CAD software (modeling, algorithms, and interaction)

• Extending our core engine and base libraries (e.g. developing algorithms for geometric modeling, enhancements to the rendering engine, etc.)

• Coordinate collaboration with internal and external colleagues at different locations

• Collaborating with a creative team in software development, product management, testing, and marketing

• You support the evaluation and analysis of existing software solutions

• Continuous training with reference to our projects

Requirements:

• BS, MS or PhD in computer science or related engineering disciplines (algorithmic, mathematical, or numerical background)

• Experience in developing algorithms for processing and visualizing 3D data

• Knowledge in object-oriented design and object-oriented programming, preferably in C++20

• Know-how in CI/CD, Containerization (Docker) and Cloud Computing (GCP, Kubernetes) is advantageous

• Exposure to part/project management is beneficial

• Fluent in English and German language

• Strong analytical skills, independent and structured way of working, high interest in new innovative technologies and enjoy working in a dynamic team
