Als Digital Architect spielen Sie eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Weiterentwicklung unserer Produkte, indem Sie Cloud-Connectivity Lösungen für unserer Ultraschallgeräte implementieren. Sie arbeiten dabei eng mit funktionsübergreifenden Teams zusammen und definieren die Integration Cloud-basierter oder lokal betriebener Edge-Funktionen.

Sie analysieren mögliche Standards und Schnittstellen für die Interaktion mit den Digital Teams von GE HealthCare und Drittanbietern, um klinische Ergebnisse für Kunden zu realisieren.

Job Description

Verantwortlichkeiten:

• Gestalten Sie die Roadmap für digitale Technologien im Bereich Ultraschall für Frauengesundheit in Zusammenarbeit mit Produkt- und Engineering-Führungsteams.

• Sie koordinieren und unterstützen lokale und globale Teams. Dabei gehören zu ihren Aufgaben:

• Unterstützung bei der technischen Risikominimierung, IP-Bewertung und Entscheidungen zur Buy- or Build-Strategie

• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Software-Architekten bei der Gestaltung von Komponenten, Diensten und Anwendungen mit Fokus auf Langfristigkeit

• Leiten von technischen Diskussionen mit Interessensgruppen zum Informationsaustausch über Architektur zur Bereitstellung und Verteilung von Software.

• Ressourcenabschätzungen und Budgetplanung

• Etablieren Sie eine Plattform-Mentalität

• Stellen Sie sicher, dass verschiedene Architekturelemente zum Gesamtbild passen und wiederverwendbar sind

• Identifizieren und arbeiten Sie mit potenziellen Drittanbieterunternehmen zusammen, um spezifische Lösungen zu entwerfen und bereitzustellen

• Sie planen und treiben technische Designüberprüfungen

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor-Abschluss in Informatik oder in "MINT"-Fächern (Mathematik, Informatik, Naturwissenschaften, Technik)

• Signifikante Berufserfahrung in der Softwareentwicklung

• Fundierte praktische Erfahrung in der Softwareentwicklung mit verschiedenen Technologien (wie Web/HTML5/JS, Micro Service / REST, Docker/Kubernetes, Java/Node, SQL/NoSQL)

• Kenntnisse in C++ und C# sind von Vorteil

Fähigkeiten

• Ausgezeichnete Kommunikationsfähigkeiten und die Fähigkeit, selbstbewusst und klar mit Kunden zu interagieren

• Berufserfahrung als Softwarearchitekt für digitale Produktlinien

• Berufserfahrung in der Produktentwicklung (Standalone Software oder physische Geräte)

• Erfahrung in Unternehmensarchitektur, Architektur-/Designmustern

• Erfahrung in Cloud-/Fog-Computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)

• Enthusiastisches Verfolgen von Technologietrends, Best Practices im Softwareengineering und Technologien bei der Lösung komplexer Probleme

• Erfahrung im Gesundheitswesen, Kenntnisse über HIPPA, GDPR und FDA-Anforderungen

• Fortgeschrittene Englischkenntnisse

• Grundkenntnisse in Deutsch

ENGLISH VERSION

As a Digital Architect you will link Women’s Health Ultrasound medical devices to the cloud. In this role you will be responsible to define the integration of cloud-based or on-premise edge features into the device. Analyze possible standards and interfaces for interaction with GE HealthCare Digital teams and 3rd party providers realizing clinical outcomes for customers.

Responsibilities

• Shape the digital technologies roadmap for Women’s Health ultrasound working with product and engineering leadership teams

• Coordinate, collaborate with and support local and global teams

• Support technical risk retirement, IP assessment and buy-build decisions

• Guide architects in architecture and design of components, services and applications with long-term focus

• Lead technical discussions with stakeholders to educate on deployment architecture

• Resource estimates & budget planning

• Establish a platform mindset

• Ensure different architecture elements fit to the big picture and are reusable

• Identify and work with 3rd party companies to design and deliver specific solutions

• Plan, drive and contribute to technical design reviews

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

• Significant professional experience in software development

• Profound experience in software development covering different technologies (such as Web/HTML5/JS, Micro Service / REST, Docker/Kubernetes, Java/Node, SQL/NoSQL)

• C++, C# knowledge is an advantage

Skills

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with customers with confidence and clarity

• Working experience as a software architect for digital product line

• Working experience in product development (stand-alone software or physical device)

• Experience in Enterprise Architecture, architecture / design patterns

• Experience in Cloud / Fog computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)

• Enthusiastically following technology trends, software engineering best practice and technologies while enjoying the challenge of solving complex problems

• Experience in Healthcare domain, HIPPA, GDPR and FDA requirements

• Advanced English

• Basic German

• In Austria we are required to state the minimum pay. For this position, the annual compensation package starts at € 60.000. We will be pleased to discuss the appropriate effective salary based on your qualifications and experience.
