Randstad is looking for Material Handlers in Zanesville, Ohio Job Summary: The Material Handler will be responsible for the accurate and timely handling of materials, including receiving, storing, and distributing products within the warehouse. This role ensures that production runs smoothly by managing inventory and supporting production needs.

salary: $16 - $17 per hour

work hours: 4 AM - 12 PM

Responsibilities

Receiving and Inspection:

• Receive incoming shipments of materials and supplies.

• Inspect shipments for damage, verifying quantities, and ensuring accuracy against purchase orders.

• Document and report any discrepancies or damages.

Storage and Inventory Management:

• Organize and store materials in designated locations within the warehouse.

• Maintain accurate inventory records using [warehouse management system/software].

• Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy.

Material Handling and Distribution:

• Pick and prepare materials for production and shipping according to work orders and schedules.

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

• Ensure timely delivery of materials to production areas.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

• Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulations regarding material handling and storage.

• Participate in safety training and drills as required.

General Warehouse Duties:

• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.

• Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager or Supervisor.

The essential functions of this role include:
