Job Description

Activities and Responsibilities

Primary Role

  • To work and connect with national and local parties involved in treatment of patients with Takeda products, having patients in the centre of what we do.

  • To promote our products as defined by the company, to healthcare professionals in relevant target groups in the territory.

  • To maximize the patient and business benefit (sales and profit) of Takeda products, through the local implementation of Takeda marketing strategy by organizing all necessary contacts and activities in collaboration with management and within the agreed promotional and cost budget.

  • Participation/Lead in projects as defined by national and subcluster management.

Key Accountabilities as KAM (100%):

  • Opinion Lead and Key account management in specialized treatment centres, support and leverage customer connectivity locally and internationally, Product promotion at scientific events.

  • Proactive surveillance of pricing environment and support local team to maintain reimbursement within defined price range.

  • Plan promotion with the management of local investment budget

  • Plan and record activities in the CRM system.

  • Obtain, share and leverage competitive market intelligence

  • Initiate and organize commercial education activities to increase disease awareness, product knowledge, and support product promotion

DDT (Data, Digital & Technology) responsibilities for KAM:

Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of Omni Channel Engagement (OCE), including all the available channels and how they are integrated into the customer journey.

  • Executes customer journeys utilizing a mix of channels appropriate to HCP segments.

  • Develops and leads integrated VB KAM plans with clear OCE tactics and KPI’s aligned to the OCE brand strategy.

  • Understands customer channel and communication preferences to create a personalized customer experience (uses right content, right channel, right time)

  • Consistently applies legal and compliance framework in OCE e.g., GDPR, consent management.

  • Demonstrates understanding and application of the engagement technology ecosystem and how each helps to improve and add value to the customer experience (e.g., Brightcove video, approved emails, Takeda ID and Takeda Connect)

  • Routinely collects and enters qualitative and quantitative data and insights from face to face and virtual customer interactions into CRM/Veeva to increase understanding of HCPs.

  • Leverages insights (e.g., From CRM, Power BI, CXM, AI) to make data driven decisions and plan and steer activity.

Area covered: Croatia

Education, behavioural competencies and skills:

Essential:

  • University degree in Medicine/Biology/Chemistry/Pharmacy or equivalent

  • At least 3 years of sales experience in specialized prescription pharmaceutical business and hospital sector.

  • Excellent expertise on the country health care system

  • Fluency in local language and English language skills (written and spoken)

  • IT skills (MS Office proficiency as a minimum)

Desire

  • Experienced in Key Account and Hospital Management.

  • Commercial experience in pre-launch and launch activities with particular emphasis on hospital selling.

  • Intimate knowledge of the country pharmaceutical industry’s code of conduct and compliance regulations.

  • Existing contacts with specialists in relevant specialties treating Therapy area diseases.

  • The candidate has to be organized and able to manage projects led by Takeda values and principles and act independently in line with trainings and SOPs.

  • He/she should also be able to work on his own without daily guidance/support from superior to achieve our goals.

  • Proven experience in sales and implementation of sales and marketing strategy and plan

  • Strong leadership profile, initiative and commitment; entrepreneurial skills, creativity and the ability to keep going in the face of hardship.

  • Deep understanding of the healthcare system and experience in managing specialty care products; ability to conduct the business in a volatile environment by anticipating the major changes and the impact on Takeda portfolio.
