Overview of the Early Career Program

The Early Career Program gives you an opportunity to apply for a Graduate Trainee position starting in October 2024.

This opportunity covers a 2-year Program, with 3 main assignments, rotating across the following departments:

Commercial: Work closely with the brand teams to support product launches and bring AbbVie products to market. Gain a strong understanding of marketing fundamentals, strategy, sales, and commercial policies and practices. Define and implement brand strategies and productivity indicators used in measuring performance and efficiency. Manage planning, monitor the competitive environment, and develop a high level of product and therapeutic disease knowledge to promote the appropriate use of AbbVie products to our stakeholders.

Customer Excellence: Develop understanding of the competitive landscape, navigate dynamics of the market, and establish a deep understanding of the drivers of AbbVie’s performance.

Medical Affairs: Assist in responding to medical inquiries and update the medical information database with the latest clinical and product information. Support the preparation of scientific materials and communication materials. Ensure adherence to ethical standards and compliance with policies and regulations.

Market Access: Cooperate on development of integrated access strategy. Define value proposition of brands. Monitor competitors and communicate potential impact to teams. Collaborate with cross-functional brand teams.

Qualifications

Skills and qualifications

  • Degree in Pharmacy or Life Sciences (additional Business, Finance qualification is an advantage)

  • Maximum 2 years work experience

  • International experience is nice to have

  • Global mindset to thrive in a diverse culture and environment

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills

  • Native local language knowledge (Croatian)

  • English language proficiency

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Driving License required
