Shipping and Receiving

Compensation:

  • Starting pay is approximately $20 an hour (this may vary slightly depending on experience level and PC proficiency testing).

M-F 8am-4:30pm

Requirements:

-Education: High School Diploma

  • Experience: 1-3 years minimum experience in the shipping/receiving warehouse controls environment.

SKILLS

  • PC Proficient

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, AS400, PROAPP, Vantage, and Outlook/TEAMS/Group/Wise

  • Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Strong interpersonal skills and telephone etiquette

  • Strong organization and decision-making skills

  • Ability to multitask and network effectively

  • Process-oriented

  • Extremely detail-oriented

  • ISO-oriented

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative shipping/receiving support for the facility

  • Enter data into the ERP system for inventory controls and shipping/receiving

  • Receive all orders and place parts into stock location

  • Handle shipping responsibilities and various shipping/receiving duties

  • Maintain stock room/warehouse in good order

  • Build packing crates using small tools (saws, hammers, etc.)

  • Pull parts from stock to ship and work with shipping software/ERP systems

  • Manage import/export paperwork & brokerage interaction

  • Facilitate the appropriate flow of documentation

  • Operate a forklift

  • Follow ISO & ESH procedures
