Consultation can help address common issues such as challenging behaviors; spotting developmental delays; trauma-informed care; and expulsion prevention. The opening is immediate, and upfront training is provided.

\ ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Provides program services in a manner that reflects the philosophy of the department.

Uses a framework of promotion, prevention, and early intervention to promote mental health and resilience and prevention of behavioral difficulties for those at risk

Acts as a resource regarding early childhood development with an emphasis on emotional and behavioral health and the importance of the relationship between the participant and child/family

Completes technical assistance plans to support participants, children, and staff

Provides observations and recommendations regarding the social-emotional environment to assist in identifying children in need of support with behavioral, emotional, or developmental concerns

Develops intervention strategies utilizing a team approach to assist staff in developing positive behavior support strategies to promote optimal social-emotional development

Collaborates with child care providers, families, directors, managers, and other team members to build their knowledge and skills to support the needs of children and families

Provides group and individual training on overall social and emotional wellness with specific topics related to child development, trauma-informed care, attachment, self-care, and other related topics

Partners and supports early care and education providers to support ongoing communication with parents regarding mental health, behavioral, or developmental concerns of their children

Adheres to all data and program requirements

Knowledge of community resources and referrals in the community

Uses independent judgment and discretion in setting daily priorities to complete tasks

Demonstrates sensitivity towards and provides services that honor linguistic, cultural, social, economic, individual and role differences among persons and families served

Provides services that are family-centered and relationship-based

Adheres to EBF Core Values, the Codes of Ethics of National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the programs Implementation Manual and Service Delivery Plan, and the funders Standards of Practice

Conducts trainings in person during the week and on weekends as needed

Applies adult learning principles and practices of multi-method instruction

Uses a training approach that is skills based and interactive for participants

Ensures attendees complete evaluation forms after completion of each training and technical assistance session

Develops and maintains collaborative relationships in the community

Provides technical assistance in 3 hour increments to Group Homes, Child Care Centers, Home Based Providers, Tribal Nations, and Homeless Shelters holding a registration agreement with ADES

Develops and implements a plan to deliver Technical Assistance that includes a written agreement between Easterseals Blake Foundation, the recipient of Technical Assistance, and the Director or Program Administrator

Completes and submits required monthly program reports and billing forms

Attends meetings as required by Supervisor

Functions as an effective team member with co-workers and the community to build productive, collaborative rela ionships and to achieve program goals and objectives.

Develops positive and constructive working relationships with staff, participants, and team members

Maintains established work schedule, is punctual, keeps appointments, willing to adapt schedule to meet unexpected needs and changes, and utilizes time effectively

Supports the decisions of the associate director and management team to staff, participants, and the community

Maintains, keeps clean, utilizes efficiently and safely the agency/departments physical facility and equipment

Supports integrated team process for service delivery, engages in collaborative activities with other TAPs working in a childcare center

Communicates accurately, clearly and professionally.

Communicates in a positive, respectful, and courteous manner
