CTG is seeking to fill aCharacterization Engineer – FIB / SEM openingfor our client in Yorktown Heights, NY.

Location: Yorktown Heights, NY

Duration: Ongoing contract

Duties:

• Use Focused Ion Beam (FIB) to prepare samples for Transmission and Scanning Electron Microscopy (TEM and SEM) and analysis.

• Perform SEM including chemical analysis (EDS). Experience with preparation and imaging of metallization is of value.

• Use other available characterization techniques as needed.

• Knowledge of AFM, TXRF, XPS, XRD and TEM an advantage.

• In a team environment, work with process team to perform characterization of wafers.

• Execute processes on wafers for research and development and for characterization prep.

• Perform tool qualifications and maintain tool and process qualification records.

• May be required work either of two shifts 6AM to 3PM or 3PM to 12AM.

Education:

• PhD in engineering or related field is preferred, Master degree also considered.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
