Job Title: Weekend Press Assistants

Job Description

We are looking to add Press Operator Assistants to our Weekend shift. The candidate will help operate the press machine, which includes loading parts, setting measurements, and starting the press process. Once the process is over, the candidate will prep the finished product and place it on a pallet for shipping. The job requires tracking everything by paper and inspecting parts for quality. Forklift experience is a plus, as it will help with driving the pull truck or 'carpet puller'.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in York, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

Manufacturing environment with varied temperature conditions. Weekend shift: Fri/Sat/Sun 12-hour shifts (5 AM-5 PM) with training Monday-Thursday 5 AM-3 PM for 4 to 6 weeks. Breaks include (2) 10-minute breaks and (1) 20-minute paid lunch break. Steel-toed/composite shoes, pants, and t-shirt required. Facility can get slightly cold or hot, but not extensively. No cell phones or air pods on the floor; speakers allowed at a reasonable volume. Digital area is air-conditioned; the rest of the facility is not.
