Altium Packaging Warehouse Worker / Yard Jockey in York, Pennsylvania

Work Shift:

12hr-D Shift (United States of America)

A Warehouse worker / Yard Jockey will operate a yard truck within the company premises. Back up and pull containers and trailers from docks to yard and vice versa. Inspect vehicles for defects and report any damages to the supervisor immediately.

  • Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.

  • Comply with DOT and company operating standards.

  • Maneuvering trucks from yard to building and back; General warehouse operations and dock work, as needed.

  • Communicate effectively with Warehouse operations to spot trucks and trailers in dock for loading.

  • Load and unload trucks and secure product in accordance with customer requirements, as needed.

  • Maintain truck operating efficiency by completing preventive maintenance requirements.

  • Keeps trucks and trailers clean.

  • Refuel trucks/equipment as needed.

  • Unload trucks and store raw materials in designated areas.

  • Transfer and store finished products to the warehouse.

  • Assist in inventory of raw material and finished goods.

  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Basic mathematical skills are required.

  • Basic computer experience.
