    Position Summary

The Therapist will provide effective therapy to children, adolescents, families and/or individual adults in office, home/community and school settings. Individual will work closely with Program Supervisor. The Therapist also assists with general quality assurance responsibilities for program treatment services. This Therapist will work in the Intensive Family Service Program and in conjunction with York County Juvenile Probation Wellness Court Program. Within the Wellness Court Program, they will provide services to juveniles who are involved in the delinquency system with presenting behavioral health and/or substance abuse needs in a manner consistent with evidence-based practices.

Essential Responsibilities

  • To assure the delivery of quality services and the effective implementation of individual, family, and group work

  • To assure continuing development of professional skills and to acquire CEU’s toward maintaining licensure,

  • Work with supervisors and Directors in meeting quality assurance standards for all components of treatment for the program

  • Provide documentation that is in compliance with program procedures, State, licensing, and Medicaid regulations, including but not limited to treatment plans, case notes, assessments, summaries, etc.

  • With the approval of, or at request of Program Supervisor/Program Director, provide in-service/training to other programs on site and/or provide information regarding Pressley Ridge and its services to community organizations for marketing and fundraising.

Qualifications

  • State Police; FBI clearance; child abuse clearance; CPSL Mandated Reporter-Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse training; any additional background checks/clearances required by state governing bodies.

  • Valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.

Qualifications

Education

Required

  • Bachelors or better in Human Services

  • Masters or better in Human Services

Experience

Required

  • Knowledge of community resources and referral procedures

  • Expertise in developmental and emotional needs of children and/or adults and families.

  • 1 year: Working with children, adults, or families.
