Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the accounting industry at our workplace in YORK, Pennsylvania, United States. The position of Staff Accountant requires a keen eye for detail and a high level of organization. The role involves processing and managing customer accounts and inquiries, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all operations.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the processing of customer credit applications with precision and promptness.

• Ensuring the maintenance of precise records of customer credits.

• Addressing and resolving customer inquiries in a timely manner.

• Monitoring of customer accounts and implementing suitable actions as required.

• Managing the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.

• Conducting bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.

• Overseeing the General Ledger and ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.

• Preparing and posting Journal Entries as part of the accounting process.

• Ensuring the Month End Close process is completed accurately and on time.

• Managing Job Costing tasks to ensure accurate allocation of costs. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and processes

• Ability to manage Accounts Receivable (AR) effectively

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with General Ledger maintenance and operations

• Demonstrated skills in creating accurate Journal Entries

• Proven ability to handle Month End Close tasks

• Knowledge and understanding of Job Cost procedures and calculations
