UPMC Paramedic Supervisor-Night Shift in York, Pennsylvania

UPMC is hiring a Full-Time, Paramedic Supervisor to support the station in York.
Hours are 6pm-6am (night shift) with occasional weekends and holidays as needed.
Ideal candidate would have experience as a Paramedic and has shown great leadership skills throughout their time as a Paramedic. Candidate needs to have the ability to work as part of a team as well as complete tasks independently.
Candidate will be based out of York County but may need to travel other locations for meetings or trainings.

Responsibilities:
Works with management responsible for IS and infrastructure support.
Works with the ATS Coordinator as regards ATS call scheduling.
Develop and recommend comprehensive communications policies and procedures to the EMS Resources Manager and Chief Flight Nurse.
Liaison to a variety of Public Safety entities, hospitals, nursing homes and other customers as regards communications.
Manages the human resources of the department.
Develop and implement training programs and continuing education.
Foster and promote professionalism within MedCom.
Work with MTS, ATS and Starflight managers in developing efficient communications.
High school diploma or equivalent
1 year EMS pre-hospital experience at the advance life support provider level preferred
Must be able to lift, carry, push and/or pull weight up to 100 pounds.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions required.
Must be eligible to receive medical command authorization by the Medical Director, have reliable transportation, and be willing to travel to any base site as assigned.
Must be able to successfully complete the prescribed orientation program, including classroom.
Must work productively and effectively within a complex environment, handle multiple/changing priorities, and specialized equipment. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
North Central Pennsylvania and Central Pennsylvania allow for the Emergency Vehicle Operator (EMSVO) certification to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent required International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) or equivalent required Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or equivalent required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) OR International Trauma Life Support OR Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Driver's License
Emergency Vehicle Operator
Paramedic
Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
Act 33 with renewal
Act 34 with renewal
Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
