Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for general facilities updates, upgrades, and special projects in the plant. Projects may include, but are not limited to: Concrete patching and repair, drywall patch and repair, facilities paint prep and painting, floor repair and painting, light carpentry, light plumbing, and bathroom fixture replacements. This is a day shift position, with hours typically from Monday to Friday, 6am to 4pm, but likely 6am-2pm or 7am-3pm.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in York, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

Multiple plants with conveyors, packing machines, fryers, etc. The environment is hot and humid. Slip-resistant shoes are needed due to oil from fryers. The maintenance team consists of about 5-6 technicians on the first shift and 2 or so on the second shift. The dress code requires jeans or work pants for maintenance, and slip-resistant shoes are required, preferably steel toes. GMPs for food safety must be followed, which includes no ripped clothing, jewelry, fake nails, etc. Safety glasses, ear protection, and welding gear are provided by the company.
