JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Periodically, Penn State York has part-time vacancies in a variety of academic units. Please refer to the Penn State York web site and/or schedule of classes to verify the discipline areas in which openings may occur. At this time, there are known part-time vacancies in the following areas. Communication Arts and Sciences Criminal Justice Engineering English Composition Mathematics - a minimum of a master's degree in mathematics, along with experience in teaching calculus at the college level, is required. Physics Statistics

A minimum of a master`s degree in an appropriate discipline from an accredited institution is required and prior teaching experience is strongly preferred. A teaching demonstration will be required as part of the on-campus interview. Applications for upcoming semesters are also being accepted.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters. The ASR is available for review here.
