Nvidia Senior System Level Timing Engineer in Yokneam, Israel

Our hardware team in Yokneam, Israel is looking for a Senior board-level timing engineer to join us. This is a cross-organization responsibility covering all timing related circuits in our switches, network adapters and interconnect designs. The Hardware teams lead the development of next-generation Network Adapters, Transceivers and switches for high-speed communication products. NVIDIA's Networking division is a leading supplier of innovative end-to-end InfiniBand and Ethernet connectivity solutions and services for servers and storage, focusing on datacenter-level optimized solutions for AI.

We offer market-leading solutions that include adapter cards, switches, cables, and software to support networking technologies. Our products optimize Data Center performance and deliver industry-leading bandwidth and scalability. In addition, we serve a wide range of sectors including high-performance computing, enterprise, data centers, cloud computing, and Web 2.0. What you'll be doing:

  • Develop board-level analog timing circuits for high-speed networking solutions, focusing on precision and reliability.

  • Close contact with Timing product vendors and define new devices for next generation designs.

  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to integrate timing solutions into larger systems and products.

  • Provide technical mentorship and expertise on timing-related issues throughout the product development lifecycle.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and standard methodologies related to timing circuits and components.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in analog design with a focus on timing circuits.

  • In-depth knowledge of clock oscillators, including TCXO, VCTCXO, and DCTCXO.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across departments and fields.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • Familiarity with industry standards and timing / synchronization protocols.

  • Experience with simulation tools and software used in the design and analysis of timing circuits.
