Kaiser Heating & Cooling - Yankton Service Technician in YANKTON, South Dakota

As a Kaiser Heating and Cooling technician, you will install heating and air conditioning systems to company standards along with providing the customer with a high-quality experience. You will perform system startups and will need to perform diagnostics and analysis to trouble-shoot HVAC equipment in a timely and efficient manner. At times the technicians may be asked to assist other employees with delivery and installation of other products and equipment. As a Kaiser Heating and Cooling technician, you are responsible for all aspects of the job, collecting the work-order/ paperwork for the job, taking direction from the project manager, loading and unloading equipment, taking care of customers concerns, receiving product shipments, collecting parts and equipment for installations and service, rectifying customer complaints and acquiring new customers.

Technicians will be expected to complete installations with a kind and courteous respect to the homeowners property as well as handling some invoicing and collections for products and services. Technicians are expected to deliver a high degree of service that exceeds the customers expectations and build solid, long-lasting relationships within customer's homes and business. Kaiser Heating and Cooling technicians will act as a liaison between the customer and the company, making sure that the customers needs are met.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: -Require a high school diploma or GED. -Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Employee will be responsible forcompleting service paperwork and billing documents. -Validated ability to perform basic shop repairs, installation, start-ups, and troubleshooting -Must wear safety equipment as required -Must be able to lift 50lbs regularly, most tasks require some physical exertion -Must be able to pass pre-employment background checks and random drug screenings -Insurable by company insurance carrier -Valid drivers license -Willingness to invest time into training and trades classes -Follow directions as giving -Basic safety knowledge of tools -Safe use of ladders, mobile equipment, power tools and hand tools -Understand how to use a tape measure -Arrive on time daily to work -Ability to operate mobile equipment and load and unload freight from shipping companies -Ability to fill out a daily time card, material list and work orders accurately
