Fairview Health Services Registered Nurse (RN) in Wyoming, Minnesota

Shift differentials for evening and overnights

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides for and assists in meeting the TCU transitional care unit residents’ physical, emotional and psycho-social needs while adhering to facility, state and federal guidelines for beautiful and vibrant skilled nursing care center in Wyoming, MN- Meadows on Fairview TCU.

Nursing schedule includes;

  • 60 hours in two weeks

  • Day/evening shift; 6:30AM-7:00PM

  • 12 hour shift

  • Every third weekend rotation

  • RN student Loan repayment up to $10,000

Meadows on Fairview TCU is located in the city of Wyoming, MN, steps away from the Fairview Lakes Hospital and a short distance from Forest Lake and North Branch.  We offer a home like atmosphere where you feel like you belong the minute you arrive!  Our 14-bed Transitional Care Unit is small enough to get to know your co-workers and residents yet large enough to provide you with opportunities and room to grow.

  • Monitors personal cares provided to assure consistency with each individual plan of care

  • Administers medications and performs treatments per physician orders and facility policies

  • Provides data relevant to the development of the plan of care

  • RN – Assesses plan of care, resident goals and revises, modify plan of care as necessary

  • Provides reports and documentation related to incidents, change of status and cares provided

Required:

  • Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree - Registered Nurse

  • Current MN RN license

  • AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers

  • BLS is required upon hire and/or new hire must show proof that they are currently enrolled in a BLS class to renew or obtain their certification. BLS certification must be obtained within three-weeks of hire date and before nurse can perform independent practice

  • 0-1 years of experience

Preferred:

  • 0-3 years of experience

  • TCU LPN/RN experience

  • Basic computer skills

  • Point Click Care knowledge
