Our 12-week paid internship program offers firsthand experience and meaningful projects that have an impact on our business. Throughout the program, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside industry professionals receiving mentorship, professional development and networking opportunities that will expose you to various aspects of our industry.

Build Connections By: Working alongside professionals in a wide variety of departments with internships available in the following areas: Communications & Legal Risk IT Legal, Risk, Communications Finance Human Resources Marketing & Merchandising Supply Chain Attending unique networking opportunities in and outside of the office. Working alongside a mentor who is a proven leader in the organization Shadowing jobs across the organization to explore your career path potential Participating in Gordon Food Services' community and stewardship efforts. Developing personal and professional skills through workshops about communication, LinkedIn, corporate presence, and more.

Build a Career: Find your place in our Human Resources department, in addition to the impactful work you will complete within your department, you will: Assist with projects tied to Gordon Food Service's strategic initiatives. Gain knowledge of the business, workplace etiquette, and business communication. Work 1 on 1 with a Talent Acquisition Specialist to revamp your resume. Work on cross functional teams to present impactful business solutions to senior leadership.

As an intern in the Learning and Engagement department of Human Resources, your role will involve assisting in the design of our Leadership Development curriculum, participating in session moderation and facilitation, and collaborating with the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team to create monthly programming. You will also be a member of the planning committee for the Women's Conference and contribute to our employee opinion survey.

Meeting the following qualifications to be considered for our 2024 internship program: Currently enrolled in a university pursuing a Bachelor degree Incoming Junior or Senior status as of May 2024 (Minimum of 56 credit hours) Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher Must be authorized to work in the US.
