Kuehne+Nagel System Analyst (m/w/d) in Wroclaw, Poland

Are you looking for a new challenge? You will be responsible for maintaining and improving computer systems for Kuehne + Nagel and our clients, mostly by examining existing IT systems and creating requirements for new ones. You also help implement them and monitor their effectiveness.

Your Role

Your role is critical to smooth operation and safe, secure computer systems that fit the business needs of KN and our clients. You represent the link between BU, Development, and Test teams and provide strong support to them.

Your Responsibilities

  • Coordinate efforts between multiple business units (BU) and the development team.

  • Develop, analyse, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for developers and testers.

  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical software design specifications.

  • Assist business units in transforming their visions into functional software while aligning with system capabilities.

  • Prepare and facilitate BU alignment meetings to present solution designs and plan releases.

  • Create test scenarios, align external deliveries, and provide Level 3 support for applications.

  • Collaborate with vendor support on commercial application issues and maintain system documentation.

  • Manage system administration, including user profiles, SLAs, and perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the manager.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Academic degree in computer science or equivalent education/knowledge.

  • Knowledge of agile requirements engineering and system/business analysis of complex software systems.

  • Ability to understand business unit (BU) requirements and translate them into high-quality software design.

  • Basic knowledge of logistics business and willingness to establish cross-functional teams.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with fluency in English.

  • Problem-solving, analytical skills, and the ability to learn new areas quickly.

  • Professional attitude, self-dependence, and strong work habits in the assigned functional area.

  • Strong customer service skills, active listening, and a collaborative work approach.
