Description: Salary:$40 per hour Shift: Days (7:00 am - 3:30 pm) Job Type: Full-Time PERDIEM PAY may apply

In the journeyman electrician role, you will perform electrical work and inspection of wiring, fixtures, outlets, conduits, trays and other electrical components. You will replace and repair electrical equipment and devices as required. You must maintain a deep understanding of building code regulations to check and ensure compliance with the highest standards of building design and construction. Success in this role will be demonstrated by employing effective process controls to ensure the reliability, safety, and efficient installation and maintenance of electrical systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe work habits, and comply with Company safety requirements.
• Working knowledge of construction, electrical work, systems, and troubleshooting.
• Proficient knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes and OSHA/ MSHA safety standards. Enforce all national and local codes and keep up with any changes in the industry.
• Capable to read and interpret blueprints and controls DWGS.
• MCC installations.
• VFD installation.
• Fabricate and install Support for Disconnects.
• Pulling and installing wire, terminating.
• Proficient in use code Book when need it.
• Possess strong expertise in all aspects of trade related materials, components, equipment, systems, methods of installation, safety procedures, safe work practices, trade related calculations, blueprint and drawing interpretation, and troubleshooting.
• Able to dig trenches and excavations, either by use of hand tools or power equipment.
• Able to safely operate two-handed tools/equipment such as cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, and jack hammers.
• Properly care for material, tools and equipment.
• Represent EandT Electric, LLC professionally at all times.
• Effective communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Required to be on-call when necessary.
• Able to perform night/weekend work as required.
• Able to travel out of town and stay overnight as required.
• Teach, train, and guide electrical apprentices.
• Able to show up to work on time and on a daily basis.
• Able to work in local meat packing plant environment.

Qualifications

• Capable to pass with 70% a basic JW test
• Proficient on conduit bending and treading
• Own tools
• Own JW Package Cordless power tools
• Reliable transportation
• Willingto work overtime
• Team-player
• Journeyman's License or Master is required.
• 5 years of industrial electrical experience.

Licenses and Certifications

Physical Requirements

• Capable to pass drug test
• Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and tolerate exposure to typicalnoises and smells associatedwith the meat packing plant.
• Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds and push and/or pull 50-pound loads at a time.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to stand and walk up to eight hours per day and climb multiple sets of stairs while carrying materials weighing between 40 and 60 pounds.
• Must be able to work some Saturdays/Sundays and at night, when needed.
