Description:

The A&E Firm primarily focuses on publicly funded projects for state and federal work which could include jails, correctional facilities, municipality buildings, first responder buildings, fire stations, police stations, distribution centers, and postal services.

• Main responsibility will be to produce construction documents within Revit on projects for the various clients that the PE will be managing .

• Design power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, control, and IT/data systems for buildings.

• Load calculations, life cycle costing and energy modeling.

• Review installation of designed equipment/systems for compliance with construction documents.

• Prepare construction cost estimates, both in a broad and detailed scope

• Assist in developing feasibility studies

• Assist in the development of contract specifications and research the application of new procedures and/or products.

• Meet, communicate, and coordinate with clients to develop scopes, prepare proposals, and oversee the installation of the work, and manage internal and external project budgets.

• Perform duties on concurrent projects of various project types, scales, and complexity within the established schedules.

  This will be a role where you will be a Consultant with Actalent providing support to the A&E firm and after supporting the firm for 9 months, you have the ability to transition to their team as a direct employee.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering

• Interest in obtaining a Professional Engineering license

• +3 years of experience in the field as an electrical engineer

• Understanding of Revit and also how to produce construction documents.
