Wyoming Sugar Company Pipefitter - Welder TI & TII in WORLAND, Wyoming
Review blueprints, plan, install, and maintain piping for Wyoming Sugar Company, a sugar processing facility. This is a full time, dayshift position, with the possibility of moving to shift work during our Campaign season.
Essential Job Duties
- Inspect workplace, clear obstructions, prepare materials and equipment to work safely
- Study blueprints and plan pipe systems and related equipment for installation
- Use a variety of tools to modify pipes to specifications
- Measure and mark pipes for cutting, threading, and welding
- Secure pipes to walls and fixtures with brackets, clamps, and welding equipment when appropriate
- Complete material requisition sheets to order materials such as pipes, hangars, brackets, etc.
- Repair and maintain pipe systems, supports, and related equipment
- Comply with relevant codes and regulatory standards Maintain good manufacturing practices to comply with company standards.
- Adhere to all company policies and all safety, food safety, feed safety, and sanitation rules and programs.
Any other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Trade school education or apprenticeship preferred
- 2 years' experience as a pipefitter/ welder preferred
- Excellent mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with equipment such as boom lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts
- Ability to prioritize and maintain strong attention to detail
- Ability to receive and follow instructions and communicate with coworkers and management
Possess current Driver's License and have good driving record

Physical Demands and Expectations
- Ability to work inclement conditions including temperatures below freezing and above 90 degrees F
- Ability to lift up to 100lbs
- Driving, walking, bending, climbing, lifting, pulling, and standing for various durations of time are required
