ASM Global Beverage Supervisor in Worcester, Massachusetts

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Training of all Bartenders for Arena and Catering departments and all Suite Attendants.

· Inventory, ordering, and stocking all bar and suite related products.

· Fulfilling the service for each mobile or permanent bar with the proper stock & staffing levels.

· Develop and implement bartender training programs, policies, and procedures.

· Properly tracking and reporting of bar revenue.

· Enforce all liquor laws & adhere to all health dept regulations.

· Responsible for daily sales reporting, accounts receivable and cash control during events

· Have the ability to take direction from supervisor and effectively organize and supervise all bartending and suite staff.

· Provide the highest customer service excellence.

· Ensure self, suite attendants, and all bartenders follow all Savor F&B policies and procedures.

· Position is very hands on with significant interaction with clients during events.

· Assist all food and beverage managers in other areas where needed.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervises all hourly Bartenders and Suite Attendants.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORKING CONDITIONS:

This position requires the ability to lift and carry 50 lbs and to remain active standing or walking for extended periods of time.

Works throughout the DCU Convention Center and Arena and, occasionally, on the exterior.

This position requires the ability to work flexible, sometimes long hours which include nights, weekends, and holidays.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

· High School Degree and/or GED

· 3 years related experience and/ or training

· Minimum 1year supervisor experience in a similar position including responsibilities of inventory, cost control, ordering, receiving & stocking.

· Must be 21 years of age or older.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

· Strong orientation to customer service and ability to work with other staff members in the facility.

· Required to have sufficient math ability to accurately count and handle money.

· Required to write, speak and understand English.

· Excellent organizational, planning, communication, and inter-personal skills.

· Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks.

· Computer skills to include Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience with Appetize POS software a plus.

· Alcohol Certification accepted in state of Massachusetts (T.I.P.S., AIM, etc….). May be obtained after being hired.

· Attention to detail and service oriented.
