Role Objective Performs quality inspections of components, per quality standards. Communicates quality issues to quality team, Process Technicians and others. Quarantines questionable parts. Operates measurement equipment "CMM/VMM", understands and communicates measurement results. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Primary * Collects all components from molding machines as required, measures, assesses, and analyzes components for conformance. * Follows first off and last off process, fills out required tags and save samples. * Saves samples of non-conforming components for analyses and possible tool repair in mold room. * Complies with all quality procedures and inspection processes, logs all required information, relays information to quality team members on other shifts. * Operates all required equipment (e.g. CMM, VMM, caliper, GO/NOGO gauges, Magna-Mike) and analyzes measurement data. * Follows hold tag process when any components and/or completed pumps are non-conforming and/or in question. * Communicates with Production and Process Technicians if non-conforming components are identified. * Performs trouble shooting as required to solve automation issues on off-shifts. * Performs measurements on ETR components, logs and communicates issues identified. General * Interacts with production team, guides material handlers in containing non-conforming components * Interacts with Process Technicians, communicates non-conforming issues identified.
