In this position you'll become part of technically diverse team to include but not limited to Help Desk Specialists, Network Engineers, System Administrators, and Database Professionals. Together this team provides IT Operations and Support to the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) which is responsible for training Law Enforcement Professionals from over 90 different agencies.Position Responsibilities:Implement, administer, configure, and support the MECM Enterprise environmentMaintain and update Windows Server OS and HardwareDesktop deployment automation architecture, design, migration, and troubleshootingManage and maintain a workstation image for large environmentsContribute to development and ongoing improvement of industry best practices and standards for deploying enterprise desktop technologiesDeployment, installation, and administration of Microsoft Office productsInvestigate, analyze, and resolve technical issues and actively pursue mechanisms for preventing, or automating the response to reoccurrencesImplementing security policies for applications and operating systems utilizing Group PolicyVulnerability remediation and managementPerform other duties as assignedRequirementsRequired Skills/Knowledge/Experience:Minimum of three years' comparable professional experience working as either a System Administrator or a System Engineer within a Microsoft Windows environmentExperience managing and designing an OS image for large scale environmentsKnowledge of the Windows registry, interaction of drivers within the OS, and unattended/silent installs of Windows operating systems.Functional working and debugging knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems.Experience in SCCM administration, patching and maintenance.Experience utilizing automated technologies for the deployment of desktop systemsExperience with Active DirectoryExperience with Microsoft 365 environmentExperience with Tenable; experience with Plugin ID's, BOD, CEV, KEV'sRequired Education and Certification:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field of study; Experience may substitute for the DegreePrefer candidates with industry recognized certifications such as: CompTIA Server+ or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)Security Qualifications:Must be a US CitizenMust pass a Federal Law Enforcement Background Investigation Benefits:We offer a wide range of medical benefits, employee resources and strategic discount alliances.
