Job Title: General Laborer

Job Description

Perform general labor to support the receiving, assembly, and/or shipping departments, including cleaning work areas, preparing, moving, and organizing materials, supplies, and finished products.

Responsibilities

• Assist the receiving, assembly, and shipping departments as directed.

• Receive written information or oral instructions for performing work assignments.

• Learn to identify typical parts, materials, and finished products to assist with moving such items within the shop or outside in the laydown yard.

• Perform physical activities, such as keeping shop area or specific pieces of equipment clean and organized.

• Mark or label materials and products with identifying information.

• Learn to identify common pieces of shop equipment and tools to assist the production team with physical tasks.

• Support the assembly department with paint prep activities, such as masking and washing.

• Sort materials or objects for processing or transport, including banding of finished product.

• Load shipments or materials. Move, stack, and organize parts, materials, or finished products to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, or delivery vehicles, using a method appropriate for the item's size and weight, such as by hand, hand truck, forklift/lift truck, hoists, crane, or other equipment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodinville, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.20 - $23.91/hr.
