Eliot Community Human Services Inc ACCS Program Manager GLE in Woburn, Massachusetts
Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the day to day operation and overall service delivery of assigned Group Living Environment (GLE) or Supported Independent Environments (SIE) in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, agency and program policies and procedures. Coordinate and oversee all case management related services for persons served in the program. This include assisting persons served with managing income, insurance, other entitlements, accessing other services and community resources and scheduling/coordination of all medical and psychiatric appointments. Create a culture of hope, recovery and resiliency at the program to promote persons strengths, preferences and independence. Ensure that each environment is recovery focused and encourages every person to achieve goals and transition to more independent living. Ensure that each program supports persons served in accessing and utilizing natural supports and community resources. Promote hope and empowerment through meetings and support with persons. Empower persons to exercise autonomy in all aspects of their life. Assist persons with identifying choices and developing skills in self-advocacy. Participate in the Assessment process and the development of Treatment Plans. Ensure that treatment goals are culturally competent, realistic, attainable and promote recovery. Ensure that person?s strengths, motivations and preferences are included in goals, services and interventions provided. Ensure that services are culturally competent, strengths based, recovery based, focused on rehabilitation and are inclusive of Person preferences. Provide side by side interventions to persons that focus on problem solving, skills training, modeling behavior, optimism and encouragement. Provide services in natural environments and assist person in engaging in community resources and culturally appropriate services. Qualifications: Must have bachelor\'s degree or master\'s degree in psychology, social work or related field and three years experience. Must have a strong commitment to mental health recovery. Must have ability to provide supervision and leadership to direct care staff. Demonstrates sound judgment and effective, solution focused, problem solving skills. Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with persons, staff, co-workers and supervisor. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and cultural groups.
