The Skyline Group of Companies Landscaper in Windsor, Ontario

We’re growing! And looking to welcome a detail-oriented and enthusiastic individual to join our team for the position of Landscaper located in Windsor, Ontario. This full-time position is ideal for someone who loves working with their hands and being outside! 

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting the daily operations of our residential properties by assisting in lawn care tasks such as cutting, watering and weeding of lawns; trimming of bushes and hedges; and maintaining flower bed, including mulching as needed.

  • Performing snow and ice removal, sanding and salting of city and company owned sidewalks, while ensuring outdoor property ground remain free of garbage and debris.

  • Handling maintenance requests such as painting halls and suites, conducting minor repairs, and removing heavy furniture and appliances;

  • Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently;

  • Contributing to operational excellence through tasks being completed within Skyline standards, and in line with all applicable provincial legislation including Occupational Health and Safety Act, Residential Tenancies Act, and the Human Rights Code.

    What we look for:

  • Exceptional decision-making skills and the capability to effectively troubleshoot and problem-solve.

  • Proficient in operating and maintaining lawn care and maintenance equipment, particularly Bobcats and their attachments (truck and trailer); sweepers, lawn mowers, snow blowers and small tractors.

  • Ability to multitask, organize workflow, and remain detail-oriented, with a willingness to work a flexible schedule.

  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills required.

  • Two (2) years of landscaping service related experience.

  • Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record and automobile insurance required.

  • Small engine repair training or certification is considered an asset.
