TLD- America Test Technician Supervisor in Windsor, Connecticut

Job description POSITION SUMMARY The Test Supervisor will oversee and coordinate activities of the Test Department to ensure production schedules are met. Responsible for daily activities in their department, supervising in respect to TLD procedure, rules, and values. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Review work orders, product specs, and blueprints for scheduled work assignments within the department based on priority and worker skill. Assign duties to department members to coincide with current production schedules and ensure work is performed in a safe and qualified manner. Requisition tools, supplies, and equipment for the department. Supervise, train, evaluate, and discipline department members in coordination with the Production Manager. Responsible for good housekeeping and following the company's safety practices such as 5s and the department's Safety Checklist to ensure a safe working environment. Ensure proper recording of all travelers, process and inspection sheets, and employee timecards on a regular basis. Coordinate handoffs between Test department and Production to maintain efficient workflows Other assignments as assigned by the Production Manager. Qualifications: 5 years experience with supervising A broad knowledge of the section and the operations of machines, equipment and tools used in the satisfactory performance of duties.
