Robert Half Help Desk Analyst in Windsor, Connecticut

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst in our manufacturing industry based in Windsor, Connecticut. As a Help Desk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our IT operations by managing ticket queues, assisting end-users, updating our knowledge base, and setting up new staff members in our systems.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and respond to ticket queue on a daily basis, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.

• Provide immediate assistance to end users, addressing their needs efficiently.

• Manage time effectively to resolve issues within 24 hours of ticket creation.

• Regularly update and create new knowledgebase documentation to facilitate faster troubleshooting of recurring issues.

• Utilize Active Directory to handle configurations for new and existing staff members.

• Image and configure Windows Environment Workstations using company proprietary software and MDT.

• Work collaboratively with peers to quickly and efficiently resolve advanced issues.

• Use Endpoint Management Central to remotely connect to end users.

• Multitask and prioritize multiple tickets simultaneously.

• Proactively analyze workflow and provide suggestions for improvement. Requirements • Proficiency in Android Development is vital for this role.

• Knowledge of Cisco technologies is necessary.

• Familiarity with Citrix Technologies is required.

• Must have experience with database management.

• Understanding of EO/IR systems is essential.

• Working knowledge of Active Directory is needed.

• Experience with Apple Devices will be beneficial.

• Familiarity with Computer Hardware is required.

• Understanding of Configuration Management is crucial.

• Previous experience with Deployments is necessary.

• Proficiency in MS Windows 10 is required.

• Knowledge of SharePoint is vital.

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Enterprise is needed.
