job summary:

Industry leading, very reputable and well established manufacturing company is looking for a promotable (groomed for advancement opportunities) Maintenance Inspector in the Winchester, VA area. This is not a remote or hybrid position so all candidates must be willing to work 100% of the time in a manufacturing plant.

This role comes with a very competitive compensation plan commensurate with experience with a base salary ranging from $85k to $90k plus a 15% annual target bonus and relocation assistance.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment with some knowledge of advanced detection techniques such as: vibration analysis, oil analysis and thermographics experience.

All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

responsibilities:

Specific Accountabilities

  • Systematic inspections of all assigned plant equipment

  • Analysis data collected, completed work orders, and process data in order to initiate appropriate maintenance work orders which include a detailed scope of work

  • Non-systematic inspections (repetitive problems, validate work requests, daily incidents)

  • Manage and Drive the PPM Program

  • Quality Assurance of Execution work done on and off site, and of materials received

  • Support Plant Safety Program

  • Document and monitor equipment history files

  • Provide technical support for plant activities and the maintenance functions

  • Coach/mentor plant employees

  • Effective communication

  • Active role in budget preparation, forecast updating and compliance

  • Assigned administrative duties

Educational Requirements:

  • Prefer AA degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent industry experience.

  • Must have HS Diploma/GED

Experience/Skills Requirements:

  • Analytical skills.

  • Excellent communications skills

  • Proficient computer skills

  • Must have current training and experience using Advanced Detection Techniques (Vibration Analysis, Oil Analysis, Thermo-graphics, NDT)
