SRS Distribution Inc. Inside Sales Representative in Winchester, Tennessee

An Inside Sales Representative will assist our walk-in customers directly, coordinate closely with our outside sales force, drivers and warehouse personnel to meet our customers’ needs in a timely and efficient manner. The Inside Sales Representative will provide counter sales, phone assistance, and other help to our customers. Be instrumental in building our business. Qualifications:

  • Experience assisting customers with purchasing needs, either walk-ins or over the phone.

  • Experience and/or interest in developing new sales opportunities through calls to potential new customers.

  • Intermediate computer skills to enter sales orders and cash transactions into company software.

  • Be reliable, safe and a team player.

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred, but not required

  • Embrace the mindset of the “Make Money and Have Fun!” culture.

  • Have a valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and reliable transportation to and from work.

  • Authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship for any length of time.

  • Able to pass criminal and driving background check and a pre-employment drug test.

Qualifications/Responsibilities:

  • Inside sales experience: to include both inbound/outbound customer support calls and willingness to proactively develop new business through outbound customer engagement.

  • Great attitude and strong eagerness to learn and execute our operation’s processes, procedures, and systems.

  • Knowledge of building materials and applications is highly desired, but anyone who possesses a strong willingness to learn is encouraged to apply.

  • Proficient in using computer systems for email, sales orders, purchase orders and other transactions.

  • Experience in warehouse operations, including forklift operation for loading and unloading, as well as quality assurance.

  • Skilled in organizing workspaces and maintaining cleanliness in all areas of work facility.

  • At least one to two years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • A dependable and safety-conscious team player.

  • A minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma or GED, with college courses viewed favorably.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus, but not necessary for consideration.

  • Possession of a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation.

  • Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship.
