Job Description:
Winchester Hospital, a member of Beth Israel Lahey Health, has an opportunity for Manager of Hospital Quality, Analytics and Performance Improvement. Reporting to our Associate Chief Nursing Officer of Quality & Patient Safety, this professional leader contributes to the Hospital’s mission by being responsible for the Hospital’s Quality, Analytics, and Performance Improvement department. As a member of the Hospital’s leadership team, provides day-to-day supervision to guide staff toward achieving the Hospital’s success factor goals and their associated initiatives. This leadership trade position will have an impact on our ability to develop and implement quality and performance improvement plans in order to identify and achieve optimum quality outcomes and patient safety objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
Preferred:
Bachelors Degree in Nursing
Masters degree in Nursing or Health Care/Quality related field
Experience
Required:
At least 3 years of performance improvement and/or data analytics experience
Demonstrated leadership in performance improvement (PI) and/or quality projects
3+ years of supervisory/management experience
Preferred:
Experience with budget management.
Experience with regulatory quality programs
Experience with Joint Commission accreditation
Other Skills/Knowledge
Required:
Advanced working knowledge of Office 360, Excel, and PowerPoint.
For safety and quality reasons, must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English with patients, visitors and fellow members of the hospital team.
Knowledge of core measures, quality databases
Preferred:
Knowledge of Epic electronic medical record
Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma or other PI models
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, CERTIFICATIONS:
Preferred:
Current Massachusetts Registered Nursing License
Professional Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification.
