Under the direction of the CAT Scan supervisor, you will perform Computerized Tomography and assist Radiologists during a variety of procedures as needed. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Welcoming patients and family members, and ensuring a comfortable care experience.
Assessing patients, verifying orders, performing safety checks and educating patients and family members on aspects of the examination.
Completing CT examinations following established exam protocols established by CT radiologists, including the administration of IV contrast.
Maintaining all department records and logs to monitor quality and safety.
Responding to supply and equipment issues promptly to ensure optimum operations and equipment quality and long-term equipment maintenance.
Communicating effectively with the healthcare team utilizing established handoff procedures.

Scheduled Hours : 40
Work Shift : 10 Hour Nights
Week 1: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday - 9:00pm -7:00am
Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday - 9:00pm -7:00am
Education/Experience Required:
- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology and one year of diagnostic technology experience OR a graduate of an accredited CT advanced program.
Licenses, Registrations, Certifications Required:
ARRT registered in Radiology and CT
Massachusetts State license in Radiology and CT
IV Certification within 6 months of hire
