Collins Companies, Kubricky Construction Corp. is seeking a reliable individual for a full-time position as a Lowboy Driver.

The primary function of this position is to load, unload, and transport several types of heavy equipment to company job sites. This is a skilled position involving safe and efficient operation of equipment/trucks.

Essential job functions include but are not limited to:

• Ability to transport equipment in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner

• Ability to perform a variety of tasks not limited to but including manual work

• Ability to lift heavy objects, sit and/or stand for extended periods of time, stretch, walk, climb, and bend under potentially adverse field conditions

• Ability to work long hours when required, some weekends and possible night work

• Ability to be flexible and to take and follow orders in an independent or group setting

• Ability to provide superior customer service

• Ability to perform vehicle inspection before and after picking up and/or delivery

• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions

• Ability to keep all equipment maintained and clean

• Must follow all safety rules, regulations, and procedures

Competencies:

Incumbent must possess a CDL A Drivers License and be experienced in driving a lowboy tractor. Incumbent should have basic knowledge of construction equipment. Incumbent must be diligent to safety rules, regulations, and procedures. Incumbent must be dependable, possess suitable time management skills, be safety conscious, and self-motivated. Incumbent must be able to maintain constant alertness to multiple concurrent activities of a site, including the activities of other employees and contractors, the operation of stationary equipment and the movement of mobile equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid and clean CDL A Driver’s License AND have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in driving a lowboy tractor

• Candidate must pass a pre-hire drug screen (Drug Free Employer)

Base salary range:

Lowboy Driver

$33,600-$87,500

Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, market conditions, education/training, certifications and other credentials, overtime when applicable, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
