Aston Carter Logistics Administrator in Wilton, Connecticut

Job Description

Responsibilities include managing cycle counts, inventory management, production planning, addressing stock shortages, scheduling shipments, and coordinating with shipping vendors.

  • Enter and update production forecasts in the MRP system.

  • Plan, schedule, and prepare production work orders and release orders to the manufacturing floor.

  • Identify and consider manpower, equipment capacity, and raw material constraints, elevating concerns to management as necessary.

  • Coordinate with order management, purchasing, stock room, production cell leaders, and shipping to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Complete work orders and move inventory into finished goods.

  • Perform periodic inventory of materials in WIP and FGI stages.

  • Perform data analysis and decision making to drive raw material supply and support finished goods plan.

  • Review BOMs and routings for new products to ensure successful integration into the production process.
