Robert Half Help Desk Analyst in Wilton, Connecticut

Description

We are in search of a Help Desk Analyst to join our team based in the Fairfield County area. The role includes providing technical support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems, software, and hardware. You will also be expected to resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues, install and maintain computer systems, and assist with user account management.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person to resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, walk users through problem-solving processes, and escalate issues as needed.

• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, printers, and other peripherals.

• Assist with user account management, password resets, and access permissions.

• Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

• Document and maintain accurate records of technical issues and solutions in the helpdesk ticketing system.

• Assist in the testing and deployment of software updates and patches.

• Conduct regular system and equipment checks to ensure proper functionality and security.

• Provide training to employees on basic IT procedures and best practices.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Familiarity with Active Directory for managing networked resources

• Knowledge of computer hardware components and their functionality

• Experience in providing deskside support to troubleshoot technical issues

• Ability to understand and troubleshoot issues related to desktop hardware

• Basic troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues

• Financial services industry experience is desired

• Exceptional customer service skills and professional demeanor

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
