Position Summary

Bridgestone seeks energetic and motivated individuals to join their manufacturing team in Wilson, NC. As a Manufacturing Production Operator, you will operate various machine, chemical, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications. The ideal candidate enjoys troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Set-up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing production equipment

  • Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods

  • Monitor the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products

  • Maintain accurate daily production records

  • Other duties as assigned

SCHEDULE: Full-time, rotating 12-hour, day/night shiftwork. 2-week rotations. Scheduled to work 14 out of 28 calendar days.

Day Schedule

Week 1: 7am – 7:30 pm, 2 days on, 2 days off (36 hours regular pay)

Week 2: 7am – 7:30 pm, 3 days on, 2 days off (40 hours regular pay and 8 OT pay)

Night Schedule

Week 1: 7pm – 7:30 am, 2 days on, 2 days off (36 hours regular pay)

Week 2: 7pm – 7:30 am, 3 days on, 2 days off (40 hours regular pay and 8 OT pay)

WAGE: Starting wage is $22.00 per hour with opportunities to earn $31.00 per hour within 2 years.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be willing and have the ability to work rotating 12 hour shifts

Must be willing and have the ability to operate multiple pieces of equipment

Must be willing and have the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve

Preferred Qualifications

2 years of previous industrial/manufacturing/maintenance experience and 2 years of stable work history
