As a cycle count controller you will be responsible for execution and maintenance of the plants cycle count program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

What You Will Do:

Core Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to cycle count policy and procedures.

  • Generate and implement cycle count plans.

  • Conduct initial cycle counts and re-counts as necessary.

  • Perform audits and spot checks on cycle counts.

  • Submit and process adjustments, including SAP adjustment transactions.

  • Report on cycle count completion and accuracy.

Support Responsibilities:

  • Generate counts for fast-moving materials.

  • Conduct monthly cycle counts of location SALT.

  • Perform weekly count adjustments for location F545.

  • Execute quarterly cycle counts of all O-stock locations (OXXX).

  • Manage physical inventory execution and Halon transactions (BULK/BULB).

  • Provide cycle count and material handling training.

  • Promote good material handling practices throughout the plant.

  • Maintain documentation and records for audit compliance.

  • You will develop skills in maintaining and overseeing inventory levels through regular cycle counts, audits, and adjustments.

  • The role requires precision in generating plans, conducting counts, and submitting accurate adjustments, which will enhance your attention to detail.

  • You will gain experience in analyzing inventory data, performing SAP adjustment transactions, and reporting on count accuracy and completion.

  • Adhering to established policies and procedures, such as the cycle count policy, will teach you the importance of following standardized processes.

  • Performing various types of counts (monthly, weekly, quarterly) and managing physical inventory execution will broaden your expertise in different inventory management practices.

  • Maintaining documentation for audit compliance will help you understand the importance of regulatory and audit requirements in inventory management.

  • Addressing issues that arise during counts and adjustments will develop your problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • High School Degree and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. In absence of a HS diploma or GED, 8 years of relevant experience is required.

  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience using an ERP desired. SAP experience is preferred.

  • Current training in appropriate shipping regulations, hazardous/dangerous goods packaging and shipping, government, international, ocean air, parcel and LTL truck shipments. Maintain as required.

  • Skills in label making, proper label application, paperwork preparation, and shipment packing.

  • HazMat certification

  • Prior experience with government packaging

  • Customer portal experience
