This position ensures the accurate and efficient processing of vehicle titles by verifying title information is correct, maintaining knowledge of current laws regarding vehicle titles, and interacting with customers and regulatory agencies to resolve title issues. Job Responsibilities: Process and re-assign titles for vehicles. Examine vehicle title for accuracy and conformity to specified requirements. Verify acceptance of the title in the state for which it is filed. Confirm accurate title VIN number, odometer reading, releases of liens, and that titles contain no alteration, etc. Resolve titling issues through interaction with customers, dealers and regulatory agencies. Maintain knowledge of current DMV laws and regulations as they relate to vehicle titles and interpret titling regulations in each state for which vehicles are processed. Respond to inquiries on vehicle titling and registration processes for various state motor vehicle agencies and clients. Process applications for duplicate vehicle titles, payments or changes to vehicle titles. Use company proprietary software for research, data entry, and account follow-up activity. Perform other duties as assigned by management. May be required to work overtime (more than 40 hours per week) as business needs dictate. Qualifications: Minimum- High School Diploma/GED Generally, less than 2 years of experience Effective communication skills required. Must possess good problem-solving and organizational skills. Basic computer software skills required. Preferred: 2 or more years of related experience required in the automobile industry or at the Department of Motor Vehicles. USD 15.87 - 23.75 per hour Compensation: Hourly base pay rate is $15.87 - $23.75/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
