Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor accounts receivable to ensure timely collections.

  • Communicate with customers to resolve payment discrepancies and secure outstanding payments.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve account issues.

  • Prepare and maintain detailed records of collection activities.

  • Provide exceptional customer service while balancing firm but professional collections practices.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: 2+ years in collections or accounts receivable, preferably in a service-based industry.

  • Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Team Player: Ability to work well independently and collaboratively.

  • Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role as a Collections Specialist

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

• Familiarity with various billing functions

• Solid understanding of collection processes

• Experience as a collector is a major plus

• Proficient in credit management and control

• Excellent customer service skills

• Prior experience in call center customer service is preferred
