Location/Division Specific Information

The Project Accounting Manager role is a key member of CorEvitas within the RWE (Real World Evidence) business. This role is remote based (East Coast preferred) and may require travel at times.

Discover Impactful Work:

The Project Accounting Manager oversees revenue and forecasting activities and related internal and external reporting. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on contributor as well as manage portions of the revenue activity. This role will work closely with the CorEvitas Finance team and across the company to support customer relationships within the CorEvitas Clinical Registries and Precision Medicine businesses.

A Day in the Life:

  • Project financial management of the services portion of the business. This includes:

  • End to end process oversight of the project revenue close process

  • Report development and generation for both internal and external reporting

  • Maintain and evolve budget and quarterly forecasting

  • Financial contracting guidance and support for services business

  • Additional revenue management for a variety of revenue recognition methodologies

  • Partnership with key internal stakeholders within the Company, including, but not limited to, the Clinical Research Management team

  • Develop and lead process improvement initiatives between finance and operations

  • Support the implementation of new systems and controls as part of the company’s growth and realize operating efficiencies

  • Participate in and drive process improvement, standardization, and productivity projects within finance

  • Ensures compliance with local GAAP, US GAAP, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies

Any other duties as may reasonably be considered as falling under the remit and responsibilities of this post.

Keys to Success:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting is required

  • CPA is preferred

Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience, ideally in Project Accounting, FP&A, public accounting, management consulting, strategy, or similar analytical function (or a combination thereof)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent consultancy skills with ability to function as an effective and trusted partner to internal clients at all levels of the organization

  • Broad and in-depth knowledge of accounting/financial principles and best practices with sophisticated analytical and quantitative skills

  • Advanced level of skill in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentation of data

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively delegate and balance work and deliver against competing demands

  • Working knowledge of revenue recognition, including ASC 606

  • Experience in Salesforce, NetSuite, Hyperion and FinancialForce preferred
