JPMorgan Chase Software Engineer in Wilmington, Delaware

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Design, develop and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involve in all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements. Work to incorporate architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications. Translate technical requirements into programmed application modules and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code related issues. Perform code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre defined architectural specifications. Perform design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements in to designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions. Integrate and test the code at SAT level. Design, develop and implement software components to ensure system-wide efficiency, reliability and compatibility to maximize system performance. Address testing issues faced by the testing team, including test data, business requirements and non-functional aspects. Validate the Application by Deploying and testing on Application Server. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Assistant Consultant, Software Engineer/Developer, or related occupation.
