JOB TITLE: Software Engineer II

LOCATION: 301 W 11th Street, Wilmington, DE 19801

DUTIES: Contribute to team responsible for building and maintaining the AdvisorONE platform (UI and services) used internally by the Wealth Advisory business as well as externally by clients utilizing the client portal; design and develop new software and web applications using Angular, Typescript, HTML, CSS, and .Net Core framework; design and architect enterprise level solutions; developing REST services and APIs for data integration with UI applications; design ETL processes; automate DevOps pipelines using CI/CD and GIT; program using C# language; write complex queries for SQL and MongoDB; implement software in Azure; support applications under development and customize current applications; assist with the software update process for existing applications, and roll-outs of software releases; analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications; document all development activity; research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports; monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products; review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects; collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements; conduct analysis to determine integration needs; work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements. Provide technical mentorship and guidance to more junior developers.

REQUIREMENTS: Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and five (5) years of experience developing software using Angular, Typescript, HTML, and CSS; of which two (2) years include designing and architecting enterprise level solutions; developing REST services and APIs for data integration with UI applications; automating DevOps pipelines using CI/CD and GIT; of which one (1) year includes writing complex queries for SQL and MongoDB; and designing and architecting enterprise level solutions.
