JPMorgan Chase Amazon Co-brand Controls Manager - Vice President in Wilmington, Delaware

About This Position:

As an Amazon Co-brand Controls Manager within the Chase Amazon Cobrand Marketing Team, you will have complete oversight of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) framework for the Amazon co-branded credit card. You will be responsible for the efficient execution of controls, implementing and maintaining the RCSA framework, and mitigating operational risks. This role provides an opportunity to work across diverse and cross-functional organizations, promoting continuous improvement through key control initiatives, self-assessments, and process review. You will also be responsible for overseeing contract compliance, SLA adherence, and communicating effectively across all levels of the organization.

Job responsibilities

  • This person will be responsible for, but not limited to, oversight and efficient execution of controls, implementation and maintenance of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) framework, implementing and maintaining controls necessary to mitigate operational risks, which includes using a risk based approach to assess the control environment, and partnering with the Cobrand Marketing and Controls Team to design effective controls and monitoring key metrics to determine the need for controls testing.

  • This team member will be responsible for working across diverse and cross-functional organizations to develop plans, identify solutions, and promote continuous improvement through participation and/or ownership of key control initiatives, self-assessments, and root cause analysis along with ongoing process review and monitoring.

  • Create a proactive risk and control culture that leverages proven evaluation strategies and sound change management protocols

  • Responsible for overseeing contract compliance, SLA adherence, and any necessary amendments

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • 5 years of experience in controls, audit, quality assurance, risk management, or compliance preferred

  • Must be able to travel to 10% of the time

  • Communicate effectively and confidently (both verbal and written) and be able to influence decisions

  • Work independently, drive project deliverables, ability to build relationships across all levels and influence key stakeholders

  • Be results-oriented with attention to detail and bias towards action

  • Display proficient knowledge of control and risk management concepts with the ability to design, create, and evaluate a Risk & Control Self-Assessment

  • Demonstrate ability to synthesize complex, interdependent, and sometimes competing needs

  • Be self-motivated & confident with the ability to demonstrate ownership, challenging, and influencing change where necessary

  • 5 years of experience in controls, audit, quality assurance, risk management, or compliance preferred
