<p><strong>Brief Overview of Position</strong></p>

<p>Wayfair's Physical Retail team is reinventing the shopping experience for Home by curating our portfolio of furniture, décor, housewares, and home improvement categories into one store- come be a part of it! We are&nbsp;seeking a Facilities Specialist to help launch all facilities components and functions in the very first physical retail store.&nbsp;<br><strong>What You'll Do:&nbsp;</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Work independently and with little to no supervision to troubleshoot all conveyor material handling systems, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and fire protection systems.</li>

<li>Execute departmental and operational goals.</li>

<li>Assist in the design, layout, and reconfiguration of existing systems as necessary.</li>

<li>Utilize CMMS system to create and maintain the work schedule and workflow. -Work regularly on aerial platform lifts, boom/snorkel lift, and powered industrial trucks (reach, order picker, stand up, pallet runners, etc.).</li>

<li>Mentor team members by motivating, providing guidance and direct feedback to help them achieve their goals and improve individual performance. -Develop and maintain good working relationships across all levels of the organization.</li>

<li>Responsible for keeping and maintaining tools, supplies, and a clean, organized work area.</li>

<li>Will perform emergency repairs in high pressure circumstances.</li>

<li>Maintain company assets/equipment by performing diligent preventative maintenance and routines.</li>

<p><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Proficient reading and comprehending electrical schematics and using associated tools such as volt/ohm meter, etc. (120,240,480VAC, 24VDC).</li>

<li>Ability to install, maintain, &amp; troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, and encoders.</li>

<li>Proficient using hand &amp; power tools and electrical testing equipment including PLC systems.</li>

<li>Experienced safely using warehouse equipment such as order pickers, pallet jacks, forklifts and aerial lifts.</li>

<li>Proficient using computer systems and CMMS software.</li>

<li>Will be required to wear applicable personal protective equipment including arc flash protection and safety shoes.</li>

<li>Ability to regularly bend, lift, stretch, crawl and reach, engage in full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists and stand and walk for long periods.</li>

<li>May be required occasionally, to lift 0-75 lbs.</li>

<li>Ability to access all areas of the building by climbing ladders and gangways safely and without limitation.</li>

<li>Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment that can be noisy and have a low lighting levels.</li>

<li>Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.</li>

<li>Ability to work independently, as part of a team and take directions.</li>

<li>Must be a safety conscious, motivated, detail oriented, self-starter with a positive attitude.</li>

<li>Must be flexible on working hours and willing to work night shifts including, scheduled &amp; unscheduled overtime.</li>
