Need 7 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag Equipment Operator to work in Willmar, MN. From: 07/29/2024 - 11/30/2024 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 8 hrs./day, Sat. 8 hrs./day. Hours listed are the anticipated hours to be worked. These hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity. A worker can earn bonuses based on performance. Bonuses are based on performance and are at the sole discretion of the employer. OVERTIME: Hours worked over 48 in one work week, are paid at one and a half times the regular rate. ESST LAW: Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. JOB DUTIES: Operate farm machinery, attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers and harvesters to tractors using hand tools to harvest crops. Operate towed machines, load hoppers, and drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, and/or tools to workers. Weigh crop containers, record weights and other identifying information. Irrigate soil, and maintain ditches. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have 3 months experience; must be able to lift 60lbs.; No minimum education requirement. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
