Job Responsibilities
40% Road Service Call Processing : Verify work performed by dispatchers and contracted garages for call closings and ultimately contractor payments. Generate audit queries to review and correct road service call coding as needed. Process adjustments to contractor payments at both the call and facility levels. Process member credit card transactions for road service calls. Provide coverage as needed for Fleet call auditing.
20% Accounts Payable : Review invoices submitted by New York State Thruway (NYST) providers and other vendors for accuracy and completeness. Input NYST invoices into Road Service system for payment. Prepare vendor check requests for contractor network purchases, such as batteries and/or loans, while processing corresponding garage payment deductions. Serve as a backup to issuing garage payments as needed.
20% Operational : Contact NYS Thruway and contracted garage representatives, members, vendors, AAA management and other AAA departments to provide assistance and respond to inquiries. Perform reporting, CRM case management, additional departmental duties and special projects as needed.
20% Private Service Reimbursement Processing : Calculate and coordinate all payments for private service reimbursements to members according to Club guidelines, including any case management in CRM as needed.
Job Specific Requirements
Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and business mathematics.
Must have strong accounting skills and attention to detail
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with contractor and vendor representatives, members and co-workers.
Physical Requirements
Ability to perform routine office tasks that includes operating a computer for long periods of time, sitting, filing and communicating on the phone
Ability to perform all physical functions consistent with travel including sitting in airplanes and driving for long periods of time
Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull a maximum of 30 lbs
Compensation
The mid-market salary for this position is $19.32 to $21.47 per hour. Starting salary is dependent on several factors including previous work experience, specific industry experience, and skills required.
